I have been hearing about the Taj- Mahal ever since I was a child. It is one of the most sought-after
monuments in India. Millions of travelers come to visit this place from all quarters of the word. I was
so unlucky until I made a trip to Asia as I have never considered seeing the Taj Mahal. But, with this
Asia trip, I got the opportunity to actually see the divine beauty of the building. Before I got ready to
visit India, I have applied for an Indian visa online
and that gave me a hassle-free experience.
When I looked at the Taj Mahal, the very first thing that comes in mind “Oh my God! What a genius
work”. I was flattered and then I got to know why millions of people come to see it every year.
Entry pass to the Taj Mahal just had cost me $14 which is probably the most low-priced. I entered
through the great gate named as Darwaza-i rauza and it leads to the gardens surrounding the Taj
Mahal building. Why Taj Mahal would not be a masterpiece as it is made of red sandstone with
marble work. The domed Chhatris on the top corners and archways are just incredible.
Now it was time to pass through the great gate archway which leads you to the garden surrounding
the mausoleum and it is the main attraction that people come to see here. I can guarantee that the
view of Taj Mahal from the main entrance is been seen by everyone in the world but in the pictures
as you can never get over these pictures of Taj Mahal which has become the must one for travelers. I
was no different, so I also took the photograph of that view.
I was also surprised when one of tour guide told me that this beautiful masterpiece is made by
Mughal Shah Jahan in the mid 17th century as a mausoleum for his dead wife Mumtaz Mahal. I
mean this really shows the ever-lasting love between the two. And he is such an inspiration to the
thousands of husbands.
